In Memoriam (optional)

A special memorial service will be held in Chattanooga for Travis Jarrell Pepper, Jr., 80, who died on September 15, 2010 in Nashville.

His family will receive visitors from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30, at Christ United Methodist Church 8645 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy "Misty" Pepper; stepson "Rusty" Webber; and sons, Joel Pepper, Mark Pepper and Kent Pepper.

He was a graduate of West End High School in Nashville and a member of the 1948 state high school championship basketball team. He was an active member of Nolensville United Methodist Church and for many years, while in Chattanooga, he was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church and the Bykota Sunday School class.

He was an independent food service consultant, having served the food service equipment industry for well over 50 years.

He was a former member of Jere Baxter Masonic Lodge #742 F&AM at Nashville, a Past Master of Brainerd Masonic Lodge #736 F&AM at Chattanooga, a 50+ year member of the Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite and York Rite, and a 40+ year member of Alhambra Shrine, and was a member of the Sunnyside Chapter #359 OES.
